What is the proper baking method? Depending on the facility where that class is located you’ll be able to bake your sourdough on site or at home.

do i need to bring anything, or buy tools for the class?

Each person will be provided with a sourdough starter kit containing a,
proof basket
cheese cloth
danish dough whisk
bowl scrapper
sourdough starter
This is all you need in order to get started. Once you get into making sourdough on a regular basic you can upgrade but there is no need if you are just starting out.
How do I get started?

Getting started is simple. Reach out through our contact form or schedule a posted class. Our Intro to Sourdough course is the perfect way to get started. Allow yourself to learn and understand that it’s not a perfect process.
how will i know what to do when i get home?

Every class will be sent home with a three page instruction pamphlet. The pamphlet will explain everything we went over in the class and you can always reach out if you have more questions.
what if i didn’t get into your class?

Didn’t make it into the class? That’s okay we frequently hold classes so you’ll have plenty of chances to get into one. You can always stop by my wholesale at The Hen House and sign up there as well!
